The President’s first responsibility is to the people of the United States of America, and to honor his oath of office, but this President has shown over and over again that he has no honor, is not truthful, and is not trustworthy!

Letter to the Editor: It’s time to clean house at W-B City Hall
Awake from your coma, voters. You’ve been had by the entire and former elected City Hall clan and that certainly includes monetarily.
Letter to the Editor: A job well-attempted by NASA
A rocket launched by NASA from Virginia recently with intention of delivering supplies to the International Space Station malfunctioned and went down across the Virginia waterfront with quite the spectacular light show. This, much to the chagrin of the Russians, Chinese, French, Germans, Indians, etc. etc. etc. who seem to have little problem getting even a bottle rocket off the ground.
Letter to the Editor: An affirmation of the Globe store purchase proposal
I read about Commissioner O’Malley’s idea to buy the Globe store. What a sensible idea. It is convenient, close to all other businesses, and would save the county money, instead of wasting money on leases.
Letter to the Editor: Political correctness and its adherents
PC (political correctness) is a technique of treachery and control by those of severe prejudice with a totalitarian mindset. PC is, in short, horse hockey.
Letter to the Editor: An excerpt from Thomas Paine’s “The Crisis”
THESE are the times that try men’s souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in a crisis, shrink from the service of his country: but he who stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: ‘tis dearness only that gives everything its value.
Letter to the Editor: The lawless people of America
Many people every day are having their rights taken from them and yet have no recourse. That is the big problem in this country. The attorneys don’t work for you, they work for the BAR, the British Accreditation Registry . . . a foreign entity. They do not care about your civil rights. The BAR control all attorneys with a BAR card. They control judges, attorneys, all politicians who are attorneys, as well as running the courts.
Letter to the Editor: Blazing new trails?
The sun was lowering. Only a short distance from the restaurant the sky clearly showed a stunning sight — closely packed parallel streaks. I was still wearing good polarized sunglasses, as the day was very bright. Apparently, as the sun produced that later light (and only then?) one could see the trails.
Letter to the Editor: Home foreclosures are not the answer to fund public schools
These foreclosures evidence that the present day property tax model used to pay for schools has become an unworkable system, and it is becoming worse by the day. Quite frankly, the property tax model that may have worked well in the 19th century is not working today, and it clearly will no longer be sustainable into the 21st century.
Letter to the Editor: Help end shockingly cruel forms of animal abuse
There is no prohibition in Pennsylvania for raising dogs and cats for human consumption. It is also the last state where cruel live pigeon shoots are openly practiced. Out-of-state shooters travel here to kill birds because it is against the law in their own states.
