Dear Betsy,
I moved from my home in Larksville and am now renting it to my niece. I have complied with all ordinances and regulations, but in notifying my insurance company a problem arose.

Stuckin Side
Dear Stuckin,A belt sander is always a help in this situation, but you don’t want to take too much off the edges. If too much is sanded...Dear Tired of the corruption,
As you may know, over the years I’ve run for numerous elected positions. I have always felt that it was a civic duty to give the public greater choice at the ballot box. As we are all aware, the corruption, cronyism, and nepotism in Luzerne County and Wilkes-Barre has brought our city to its knees.
Dear Linda,
You are correct. Way too many animals are lost, abandoned, mistreated, or stolen in our area. If our current laws were enforced, I think that we would see fewer problems. There just aren’t enough people to handle the growing animal population. Please adopt and spay/neuter!
Dear Buried,
You are not alone! When I ran for Mayor in 2011, a spring cleanup was the #1 request of the many people whom I spoke to. Years ago, Wilkes-Barre did, in fact, conduct cleanups. I have publicly asked the city council numerous times to find a way to bring it back. I received no response.
Dear Old Bones,
As with anything, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. It is always important to do your homework and check the ingredients and, if possible, read independent studies. The main thing that you should understand is that vitamins are not regulated, so there is no guarantee that what the manufacturers claim to be in them is really in them.
Dear Shiverin,
I struggle with this every winter! Here are the steps I take. The first thing I do is have a plumber tune up my boiler. Next, I close and inspect my storm windows, caulking all gaps. I also have a draft blocker for the bottom of my doors. For supplemental heat I use a couple of oil-filled electric radiators and I also have an electric blanket on my bed.
