About: Anthony Antonello

Following six years in the military, and much time as a medic and firefighter, Anthony Antonello has witnessed the ups and downs in life. From spending time fighting for the United States military, to the everyday horror covered on the local news, Antonello was there, witnessing events most only see from the comfort of their homes on a TV screen. Not allowing those images to simply absorb in the noise of the mainstream media, there was only one thing left to do for the man from Northeastern Pennsylvania: become politically active. Antonello now travels the country, covering stories and events to show people firsthand what the mainstream media refuse to show —and asking questions the mainstream media refuse to ask using whatever means possible to get people thinking.

Silence is Compliance: The tireless minority

The cornerstone in this country now is control. Everything is about control, and unless you want to be an overt, literal slave to the State then you might want to pay attention, because we’re now that close to such a scenario. Every time one of these “officials” speaks to the nation on national television I have to cringe as I wonder if this will be the time when they just openly decree that “for the security of the country” there will be no more orchestrated shows to give you the illusion that you’ve voted in a new “leader” . . . because you need to know your place.

Silence is Compliance: An attack on the King’s soldiers

Because some of my questions were outside the box compared to most being asked at those PSP press conferences, I’ve been called all kinds of names, from “the fake journalist” to “that anti-cop guy,” just because I asked if “actively surrendering” included shooting an unarmed man in the back, which understanding Lt. Col. Bivens confirmed as correct.

Silence is Compliance: Terrorized yet?

I have written on all of these aspects extensively, explaining that a terrorist determination is not as simple as just labeling a certain group of people as such for whatever reason and claiming “they are terrorists.” Since that topic is not the primary focus of this article and so as not to spend too much time on it, yet give you a little context, know that YOU very well might be labeled as a “possible terrorist” by the U.S. government. It comes down to certain criteria that have been laid out, and if you meet those criteria, you make that watchlist.

Silence is Compliance: Would you recognize tyranny? Part II

Now, in 2014, this government admits to wiretapping every single American, and the following claim might sound like hyperbole if it were not true, but the entire world is now being spied on. The U.S. government has written into law the power to do literally anything it wants to you and you have no say about it whatsoever. They can kidnap you, throw you in a cage forever, and you will never see a lawyer, let alone see your family again. But I guess that pales in comparison to the fact that they can murder you without you ever getting a chance to face your accuser in a court of law or make your case for innocence. If your family wants to know what happened to you, they will be told that “it’s classified, National Security,” and all of this can be made upon the decision of one person who doesn’t even need to explain to anybody why he made such a decision.

Silence is Compliance: Would you recognize tyranny? Part I

Would you recognize tyranny? Honestly ask yourself that question. How would you know if you are on the right side of history? Being a citizen of the empire, you, the reader, live in a bubble and are constantly being reinforced with the notion that “we are the good guys” and that “we are bringing peace to the world,” “we” being American citizens of the United States federal government and anybody who stands behind it and the actions carried out in its name. I know that when conversation arises about foreign policy, it usually consists merely of left-vs.-right talking points. Consider that most of the “anti-war Left” were really just anti-Bush, and I wouldn’t even have a problem with that if they stuck to their principles and continued to be anti-war, but that wasn’t the case. When George W. Bush left office, it seemed the “anti-war Left” departed with him.

Silence is Compliance: Nine people

So, what do we have? We have what I have to consider, depending on where you are coming from as far as importance, as far as priorities, what you think might be the most important story. Well, nine people that like to dress up in black robes have made a decision and, you know, I could speak about this process known as “the Supreme Court.” I could speak about that extensively, and the system, in my opinion, is ridiculous to begin with, for the fact that you have . . . I mean, it’s the year 2014 . . . and you have this system where nine people come out and they, you know, they’re in their long black robes — and there’s a whole history to that — sitting up on three steps up, up on a platform, looking down, looking down at you, obviously. I’m pretty sure the analogy comes across loud and clear with that one, as they look down at the peasants, as they judge . . . I’m already starting to drift, but I’m trying to just stick with this “Supreme” Court, okay. Now, this is supposed to be a group of people that, well, I guess this is the way they play it, and that’s why I have to backpedal on almost everything I say because there’s the “reality” of the situation, there’s the perceived reality, and then there’s the fraudulent Matrix-type surreality, if you want to put it that way. And it’s just fictitious and people fall for it. That’s actually the fake reality that most people spend their lives in.

Silence is Compliance: The paradigm shift

That we face an uphill battle is abundantly clear. That is, if one’s stance lie on the side of individual liberty, self ownership, and property rights, and against a police state, surveillance society — in general, if one does not want others to have the final say in how he lives his own life. With the fascist government/corporate hybrid that never stops introducing new programs, rules, regulations, and laws that restrict human behavior and interaction — yet never seems to offer more liberty or freedom — it should be obvious that the logical and natural conclusion to this pattern is complete totalitarianism. Examples can be seen in federal legislation such as the USA PATRIOT Act and the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), in states with laws like New York’s “Safe Act,” which makes it nearly impossible to have any type of gun, even in your own house, and in the “new standard” in government-run education termed Common Core. Curiously, it seems that the Common Core Standards are supported by nobody, except for the individuals who have vested interests in the federal initiative, of course.

The truth, and nothing but the truth, will set you free, Part III

It has become apparent that the Fourth Estate of mass media has been compromised. People can claim “incompetence” until they are blue in the face, but I will argue that the faults lie much deeper than that. When those in the corporate controlled media willfully ignore stories that many times are so important as to be — literally — a matter of life and death, and in turn spend their time talking about some trivial, nonsensical issue, I hope it’s obvious why Americans have lost all faith in those many now simply refer to as “the gatekeepers.”
