Luzerne County 911 issues press release on handling of Vincent Marcario call on November 27
Fred J. Rosencrans, executive director of the Luzerne County 911 Call Center, has issued a press release concerning the processing of a 911 call for the late Vincent Marcario this past November 27. Processing resulted in the dispatching of emergency responders to the incorrect address.
The release states that “after an internal investigation was completed, it was established that the initial Call-Taker violated internal Luzerne County 911 protocol” and that “the Call-Taker resigned from employment with Luzerne County” following an internal employment review hearing conducted with union representatives present.
