I read about Commissioner O’Malley’s idea to buy the Globe store. What a sensible idea. It is convenient, close to all other businesses, and would save the county money, instead of wasting money on leases. I also understand the Globe is owned by the Chamber of Commerce and does not pay taxes. We don’t lose any tax dollars. Great idea.
