Robbins’ trespassing charge is dropped

On appeal, Mark Robbins’ trespass by motor vehicle charge was dismissed on August 7 by Judge Michael T Vough when Wilkes-Barre Police Officer Brian Gist failed to arrive for the scheduled hearing.

Robbins, a photographer for the Independent Gazette, was charged earlier in the year with trespassing while snapping pictures of an LAG Towing plate affixed to Wilkes-Barre Police Officer John Majikes’ personal vehicle.
