Independent Gazette Talks with Pennsylvania Senator Mike Folmer
This week, the Independent Gazette sat down with Pennsylvania Senator Mike Folmer to discuss the introduction of the “Voters’ Choice Act.” What is that, exactly? In a nutshell, it aims to run our state elections according to the Pennsylvania Constitution, which directs in Article 1, Section 5 that, “Elections shall be free and equal …” Seems simple, right? Well, we will see.
Over the next month the Independent Gazette, in conjunction with Sanity Check Radio will be interviewing all the state representatives in Northeast Pennsylvania to see if they will co-sponsor and make sure party leadership brings this important legislation up for a floor vote. As we have our men and women dying all over to have free elections over there, you would think that all groups whether they identify as Democrat, Republican, Libertarian, Independent, Tea Party, Green, Conservative or Constitution would support free and equal elections right here in Pennsylvania.
