Mr. Adams,
Your email is patently untrue, and you know it. To say the Libertarian petitions were aided and abetted by Democratic petition circulators is an absolute lie. You are a disgrace not only to yourself but by representing a Tea Party you disgrace every principle the Tea Party stands for. “We cannot allow the Obama/Biden Democrats to get away with stunts like this.” Where is that proof? You don’t have it and the truth be known it is just the opposite. If you stood for the principles you claim to have you would be showing up in Philadelphia on Monday not to support the PAGOP but denouncing their actions as UN-American.
In The Road to Serfdom by Friedrich Hayek it states, “Advancement within a totalitarian group or party depends largely on a willingness to do immoral things. The principle that the ends justifies the means , which in individualist ethics is regarded as the denial of all morals, in collectivist ethics becomes necessarily the supreme rule.” Please do not let the “end justifies the means” cloud your judgment. The actions taken by the PAGOP flies in the face of everything the Tea Party is supposed to stand for.
I urge you to read up on the biographies of the two individuals the PAGOP is trying to remove from the ballot. Do they deserve not to be on the ballot and compare that to Mitt Romney. Please read other related press releases and judge for yourself.
