New Kingston Business Now Open

Amber Summers opened the Thrive Wellness Center this past November in Kingston. The mission of the wellness center is to provide the community with a resource center where people can come to receive treatment and advice that will relieve stress, and help their body re-balance naturally.

Ms. Summer’s has spent many years in the holistic and natural health fields. She studied at the Washington Institute of Natural Medicine in 2002 and is certified as a Holistic Health Care Practitioner. She has studied traditional Chinese Medicine Observation Techniques, Iridology, Kinesiology, Homeopathy, herbal Medicine and supplements. She is also certified in Angel Therapy and Reiki a form of Energy Healing.

“Your health can be better than the status quo” said Summers. At the Thrive Wellness Center we help you understand your body, and its needs to support it in healing and reaching a greater state of health. This means living every day with energy and without pain and symptoms.

There are currently nineteen practitioners on staff including three holistic health care practitioners. Services include supplement recommendations, detoxification, nutrition and weight loss, reflexology, massage, traditional Chinese medicine, mental and emotional healing, along with a full line of products and supplements.

They also offer certification classes for individuals seeking to learn and or practice holistic medicine. The certification is offered through the Washington Institute of Natural Medicine. These classes are accredited to offer CEU’s for LPNs, RNs, and Licensed Massage Therapists.
